Executive Producer Stacy Davidson

Egyptologist Stacy Davidson has designed and taught over 30 credit and non-credit courses on ancient Egypt, North Africa, the ancient Mediterranean, ancient Southwest Asia, and ancient languages. She is a founding member and first President of the Missouri Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE-MO) and is the creator and Team Lead of the Egyptology State of the Field Project. Professor Davidson is a 2020-2021 Mellon/ACLS Community College Faculty Fellow, a Lieberman Teaching Excellence Award recipient (2021), a JCCC College Scholar (2020-2021), and a NISOD Excellence Award winner (2021). Her research interests include the reception of Egypt in Egypt/Little Egypt, Illinois, the reception of Egypt in sci fi, fiction, and the arts, improving Egyptological pedagogy, and ancient Egyptian scribal palettes. Jenny Pape

Music Producer Jenny Pape

Jenny Pape is an Associate Professor of Practice for Audio Arts at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she teaches courses in Music Production, Podcast and Broadcast Audio, Audio Documentary, Sound Art, and Entertainment Industries. She also serves as the advisor for the student run record label, Digidog Records. She is a recipient of the Best of Festival Winner in the Broadcast Education Association’s 2016 Festival of Media Arts Competition. Her students have gone on to place 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in the Audio Engineering category of the Festival of Media Arts Competition in 2020 and 2021. She wrote, produced, recorded, and performed her 2017 MFA Thesis, Makanda Ballads: Media Practices in Rural America, which included the production of a musical album, Ballads of Makanda: A Modern Folklore.

Jenny Pape is also a singer/songwriter and producer of multiple albums released commercially, and she continues to perform across the Midwest both solo and with her group, Miss Jenny and The Howdy Boys.
