<strong>Attacking Genbu Gate</strong>
Subject
The topic of the resource
Woodblock Print
Description
An account of the resource
The Japanese army tries to break the gate. This print is propaganda to show the strength and superiority of the Japanese army. In the text next to the soldier climbing the wall, it says how the man bravely scaling the wall is nothing but a foot soldier--not an officer, or any type of commander, but a simple, courageous infantry man, and because the army is filled with this type of soldier, the Japanese army will be victorious.
