The Illinois Central Railroad Engine 1536, a 2-8-2 Mikado locomotive, rests next to the new Diesel Engine 4038 in Carbondale, Illinois. Diesel locomotive 4038 was a General Motors Electro-Motive Division E-9 passenger locomotive built in 1956. It was scrapped in 1980.
