Elena M. Sliepcevich Faculty Research Award

The award, in honor of Dr. Elena Sliepcevich, supports faculty research on a health-related topic.  Preference is given to research that includes youth education/youth outreach in a health related field.  Please see the Centre for Health Education Studies website for a list of awardees.

Elaine M. Vitello Ph.D. Leadership Award

The award is designed to acknowledge expcetional leadership potential in the College of Health and Human Sciences.  Recipients are junior or senior full-time students, in a major within the College of Health and Human Sciences.  Awardees receive a $500 annual scholarship and a $2000 travel award to attend a national women's leadership conference.  Selection is based on a student's commitment and dedication to leadership as indicated by service to the school, college, university, and/or community, as well as career goals.
