AAHPERD Centennial Conference, April 17-21, 1985, Atlanta, Georgia

From April 17 to 21, 1985, the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD) celebrated its centennial at the Omni Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia. A number of Southern Illinois University Carbondale professors and graduate students presented research and attended the Eta Gamma Sigma social. These rare images captured by Judy C. Drolet feature health education key leaders and pioneers like Mary K. Beyrer and Peter Cortese, along with many others who became health education professors in universities across the nation.
